When you book and pay directly through this website, we offer a standard 7-day cooling-off period, within which time, if you change your mind, you may request and will receive a full refund.
The exception to this will be if the booking is two weeks or less before the date of an event that has been booked, in which case no refund is issuable (for residential retreats the the cut-off for a cooling-off period is when the booking is made within 6 weeks before the commencement date of the retreat).
Once the booking has been confirmed, fees and deposits are non-refundable, although under certain circumstances, your payment may be transferred in part or in whole to another event, or transferred to someone else. This is strictly at the discression of the management of the AcquaViva School of Yoga.
In the unlikely event that is booked on this website is cancelled by us (this has never happened to-date), we will offer a full refund of any fees paid. We are, however not responsible for any other associated costs incurred.
For all AcquaViva Workshops booked on this site (workshops organised directly by the AcquaViva School - ie payable via Worldpay on this site)
Once booked on website, your place is assured provided that the workshop is not already full at the time of your booking. If you booked after the workshop has filled, you will be issued with a refund as soon as we have been notified of the over-booking.
After the cooling-off period, your booking fee is non-refundable, although you may transfer your place to someone else, provided only that you provide us with contact details of the person that is taking your place, at the latest 2 days before the date of the workshop. Also, if you let us know at least 7 days before the workshop date, it may be possible, at our discression, to transfer your full booking fee to another event. If instead you would like a partial refund, this is possible, at our discression, provided that the workshop you originally booked for is full, and we have a waiting list. In this case, once someone else has taken the place, we can refund you 2/3 of your booking fees.
When booking a series of workshops/ a course for a discounted price, the number of workshops you are booking for is essentially serial, so if there are dates that you cannot make within the series, it will be in principle, your responsibility to fill the place(s) that you cannot make on those dates. If the course is full and we have a waitng list, then if you give us enough notice, we may be able to fill your place for you (in which case the number you have paid for will be carried forwards)
Any refund or transfer that may occur after the cooling off period will be entirely at our discression.
After the first deposit is paid, your place on the retreat is assured. And after the cooling off period, deposits are non-refundable. Further non-refundable payments towards the retreat must be paid in a timely fashion (as set out for you when you first book) and the final payment must be made at the latest 6 weeks (48days) before the start date of the retreat. You will be reminded by email of when payments are due, but it is entirely your responsiblity to make sure that we receive all payments in time. If you are likely to have any trouble in making a payment on time, you must let us know as soon as you can so that we can organise alternate payment plans for you. If we are not informed and any payment is more than 2 weeks late, we will take the absence of payment as a cancellation on your part. Should you cancel in this way, payments will remain entirely non-refundable. It may be possible, at our discression, to fill your place with an appropriate student on a waiting list if you wish to cancel and the retreat is full. If this is the case, once someone has booked and paid for your place, we will refund you an appropriate proportion of the fees paid so far, (minus first deposit and admin. costs, also depending on whether discounts are needed to sell on your place at a late date).
In the unlikely event that we cancel the retreat ourselves (this has never happened), you will receive a refund of your payments so far, but we will not be liable for any other costs incurred. So it is strongly advised that you get appropriate holiday insurance to cover this eventuality. In the unlikely event of the retreat venue cancelling, or if we cannot run the retreat for circumstances out of our control such as war, terrorism or other political reasons (nor has this ever happened), we will refund as much of your accommodation costs as we can recoup. Other than this, your own insurance should be in place to cover these unlikely events.
For Garden Yoga with Marc
Booking for any session means precisely that (come as and when you please). Should the weather make it impossible to run classes that particular week, I shall put it on the following week if I can.·· If weather prevents yoga on any particular day, I may put on the sessions indoors in my home for the first five people that turn up ... Those that miss out, and have booked for anything between 1 session and 2 days, may come on·another day that week. If you book 'any time', that day is just forfeited. If the event just needs to be cancelled, you will be fully refunded ( Surprisingly for the UK, this hasn't happened yet!)
Private tuition & Skype:
After payment, your private session is assured. Once the date and time have been agreed, if either of us need to reschedule, this can be done any time up to 24hrs before the appointment.
After this time, or if the appointment is simply missed without arranging an alternative, the fee will be retained and any sessions after that will need to be re-booked.
Any refunds offered, other than under the original statutory 7-day cooling off period, are at our discression.
